     Thank you, little sundog. I have been thinking about you often these days, as there is a mama deer here (at our place on Cortes Island) with her twins fawns. This deer has been coming around for several years and is very much at home, and she obviously feels safe enough that she leaves the fawns right by the house when she goes off to forage. They nibble clover by the front deck, and are impossibly cute and lovely.

     I understand. I am partial to the kitties myself. Those pictured above are Ziggy, who came to us recently, and Jasper and Maggie, who are siblings.
